Just what is success? I would say that we all have different definitions and that even those change over time. I’d consider shooting under par success (actually that might fall in the ‘miracle’ category) but I doubt Tiger Woods would consider shooting in the high 60’s success, especially now.
It’s been said that “nothing has meaning except the meaning you give it”. I’m not so sure about that but what if we decided that reaching the next step on the ladder wasn’t really worth all of the toil, long hours and stress? That setting that next medium sized goal was only busy work?
Maybe true success isn’t really achievable. Once you aim for a target and hit it, do you really feel like you’ve finished? Or is it on to the next challenge?
